(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Whats up guy's I don't now if I should get Battlefield 3 or not reason being
that MW3 is coming out in little less than a week.

Don't get me wrong Battlefield looks quite amazing I am just wondering does
it have the staying power that it was all hyped up to be.

You see I played the online Beta and thought it was quite laggy not to mention
glitchy, so Please guy's can you give me a heads up on BF3 I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks.

The full Retail game has turned out amazing, as usual it has it's fair share of glitches for a release game (those are going to be patched pretty soon anyway Happy), but it's otherwise a graphical masterpiece, maps are big, vehicles are great and the unlock system takes a good amount of time to get everything, and there are I believe 145 ranks in the game.

It has longevity and along with that future DLC, it's your choice on what to get but I would suggest Battlefield 3.

I'll second what he said, however it's a lot more fun if you are good at it.
The BF series isn't like COD where you can just pick it up and instantly be pro at it.
It takes time to learn how to play it and what weapons to use, but I still suggest it over MW3 even if you haven't played a COD game before.
Also, flying jets is one of the most fun things I've ever done in a FPS game Winky Winky

the other thing you have to take into account is that on EA games most dlc is free, where as to get the dlc on MW3 you will have to be an elite member really to take fully advantage and thats £30-£35 a year so makes the game nearly £70-£80 for a year of gaming BF3 is £40 and the first dlc is free and that will keep you going most of the year

the only problem with bf3 at the moment is the lag but black ops is still a laggy game at peak time and thats been out for a year and i even have problems with a fibre optic broadband 18mb connection

BF3 is alot better than the beta suggested and as has been said elsewhere the beta was an old build and a very old build at that. the vehicles are what sets this game apart from cod series and they add that little something special

IMO: i ended up playing BFBC2 longer than mw2/black ops. get really bored of cod games as in the community is shit and the game is the same everytime , to me cod gets repetitive . same guys in the same corners and same tactics. cod maps are so small that by the end of the month everyone knows each corner . with battlefield , with map scales and vehicles , every game doesn't get repetitive. if you have a choice get both , if not , my money would be on BF3 as they don't really do map packs they do expansion packs. just like what mw3 should be . a expansion pack for mw2 . because mw3 looks like mw2.5
on BFBC2 they gave us "vietnam" for $15 and it was new maps , new guns , and new vehicles , cod doesn't do that , just new maps for $15 but i heard rumors that mw3 will have extra stuff besides maps. so who knows

Look, if you have the money for both games, get it. It's great to say the least, yes there is lag, but it's still it's first week and EA will sort it out. It depends what you like too, if you like the CoD series more, get MW3, but I think BF3 has the potential to be better then MW3. The graphics are jaw-dropping.
