The GTA IV trailer was released on 03/29/2007 and the game was released on 04/29/2008 (397 days/13 months between) the days are also the same... The GTA V trailer was released on 11/02/2011, so when I add 397 days it is December 3rd 2012. But because GTA IV was released the same day as the trailer it's logic that GTA V will be released the same day too, December 2nd 2012!
I hope they release the game earlier because I can't wait!!!

You're mistaken if you mean helicopter fly because you could fly in GTA 4 with a helicopter.

It's also possible that GTA V will be released on the Next Generation consoles. GTA IV was already too powerful for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

I would think that would be pretty close or maybe a little later. My thinking is usually a game doesn't come out until ~2 years after an announcement trailer. A lot of games seem to do that unless they are running on the same engine as the previous title.

lets just hope the trophies are a bit more forgiving this time. also i wonder how much of a jump in visuals it will have going from 07/08 to 12/13.

Gta IV was not too powerful for the PS3 , not even 1 game has used 100% of ps3's hardware. Once there are games that uses every % of the hardware, they are going to make another console... Why would they make 1 now if they can't make powerful games?

GTA4 was delayed for 6 or 7 months, it was originally due an october release if I remember correctly, then coming out April the following year
