On November 18 a new policy will limit the number of devices you can activate on you PlayStation Network account (PSN). The new limit will be two devices, and the update will not affect any purchases before November 18, 2011. The update will affect all PS3's and all models of the PSP.

PlayStation also mentioned a website that will be soon released and it will help you manage your account from your PC. If you wish to deactivate any devices right now you must follow You must login or register to view this content.

This ****ing sucks. go **** yourself sony! so what will happen after the set date and say you have your profile on 4 systems? will they get blocked? my first playstation 60gb blew up so i couldnt deactivate it!

Once again, this is Sony taking away another advertised selling feature of the PlayStation 3. Just like how the PS3 was advertised to support OtherOS, and that was taken away, now this. The PS3 was advertised that you could share content across five PS3's, and now they are taking that away. Someone will take them to court for false advertising, just like what was done over OtherOS.
