the ump only takes a whole clip to kill one person from a decent range, gun is a joke.

for me, the ump was a way to let me use/upgrade my recon class without sniping

UMP is only good for close quarters. Anything longer than point blank and the UMP takes a whole clip to kill -.-
TBH all guns seem pretty balanced. One or two guns might be slightly better but no one gun stands out. Btw I went 65 - 12 with the M249 I guess that's OP too right?

I think most of the Assault and Engineer weapons are overpowered, wish they were balanced like BFBC2 weapons. On topic, the UMP overpowered? LMAO it's balanced in my opinion, it does what a SMG is meant to do, good in CQC, sucks in mid to long range.
