(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); EA has announced (via Twitter) that over the past week, they’ve banned “hundreds of offending accounts” in regards to Battlefield 3, and added that they’ve also stats wiped the accounts of those who were “boosting”, e.g. using in-game glitches to boost their score. EA will continue to monitor players and “take action” against players who don’...t respect the game. The bans happened across all platforms.

Over the past week, there have been revelations of a new boosting technique where players could rake in tens of thousands of points during a match by misusing the repair tool.

that al well and good but what about this bloke on the leaderboards that has 4 accounts and has like 30,000,000 score and when i checked his stats he uses his revive tool alot??????? his acount name for psn is III---DAR---III and it not really a glitch or cheating with the eod bot cus they made its so that i what happend when u get 7 repairs u get the ribbon get 50 of them n u get the medal wich gives out 10000 points there is no exploit its just their ****up their solution everytime somone cheats is bann them how about creating a totaly differant server for cheaters n putting them on it so they can just play with other cheaters then they have to pay to get back on to normall server that way everyone wins honistly i think that ea should let the community make the next game lol Smile

Why couldn't they focus on a patch to fix this games PS3 Voice communication and other stuff, cheaters are the least to worry about on BF3 at the moment! stare :FU:

They should patch it for sure, but not ban people.

It was a feature they included in the game. Their fault for not realizing this would happen. It's not against the rules in any way.
