Only a few days after Infinity ward released Modern warfare 3, they have also released a patch for the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Also, Robert Bowling, Infinity Ward’s Creative Strategist shed some light on issues that will be fixed at a later date.
In the patch 1.03
When you start up MW3 you will be notified that you must update to patch 1.03.
Fixes on the PS3 alone:
- The PS3 patch helped resolve “any ‘Out of Memory 14′ errors you may have seen”
Fixes on the Xbox 360 + Ps3:
- Includes improvements to matchmaking
- Fix for video uploads on SD [Standard Definition] TVs
Robert Bowling also noted: "Please note, if you’re unable to join up with your friends, then it’s “most likely” caused by the patch. Wait until everyone is on the same version in order to “matchmake” together."
In Future Patches or Hot Fixes
Robert noted that “wall breaching the tanker on Outpost” will be resolved via a hot fix. Cross country matchmaking has also been a notable problem that Robert is aware of. He explained “this may be an issue in smaller countries and are currently evaluating how to best address this for them.”
