(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); In hopes of enticing the view of many gamers, EA set forth a fairly good perk of buying Battlefield 3; get a free copy of Battlefield 1943 along with it. Although the game is about three to four years old, it still manages to attract the eyes of avid Battlefield gamers, especially when then huge namebrand game such as Call of Duty and Battlefield get boring. However, to the surprise of the BF3 owners, BF1943 was nowhere to be found. EA realizing their failed part of the deal attempted to cover it up by offering the PS3 owners early access to DLC. Not for free, but just the availabilty to purchase it prior to the xBox 360 and PC. EA however has fooled no one, seeing as they had already announced prior that all PS3 BF3 owners would receive it early none the less

Well admits the lies and deception EA is being taken to court by a handful of gamers, gamers with credible lawsuits. Within the legal papers its stated that Electronics Arts "misled and profited from thousands of their customers by making a promise that they could not, and never intended, to keep," A large amount of customers based their purchase of this game over the countless other games releasing in that time period(CoSad Awesome Modern Warfare 3, Saints Row The Third, Skyrim) for the free content, which in the end would never be given.

Although the suit is a serious matter, really gamers such as myself and those filing the lawsuits really want is what was promised. The free content that makes the whole Battlefield 3 gameplay and experience more enticing.

Well more or less, yes they just want money. But there are gamers out their who would like to see them win for the rightful giving of the promised DLC.

its still stupid how they offer a game thats almost 4yrs old and was offered in BC2

Yes but just as Call of Duty 4 can sometimes but hell of a fun thing to play when the newest Call of Duty's make you rage quit, it would be nice to have. Plus, who can argue with free content?

Maybe they should offer the DLC free and BF1943 as well.

i forgot about this... so they promised us battlefield 1943.. suddenly cut the deal and then promised us early dlc when we ALREADY were going to get early dlc. /facepalm

hope the ps3 owners win this lawsuit.. blatant false claims.. what a fail

Just keep in mind there not doing it for us, all about the money. but i hope they win, to teach EA not to **** with us
