Before I start the article, I'm going to explain what's going to happen in this thread, I will basically do a huge debate using evidence to decide whether this map pack rumour is fake or not, I've had help from youtube videos and I did not come up with all of this myself! Enjoy!

Over the past few days there have been various different rumours about the first MW3 DLC to be released just before or just after New Year, it is unclear at the moment. Please note, this is just a rumour, all the info in this thread has been taken from a few videos that analyse the evidence, I will provide the best video at the bottom of the thread. First off, if you are part of Call of Duty Elite and have founder/premium status, you will be getting these maps completely free! Not just this DLC, but every single one that is released, and they are supposedly releasing many map packs over a nine month period!
The first image of this thread claims that the maps will be released in early January (if it is a US date), this is confirmed by the second image below (these images will all be taken from the video linked below, the guy has a watermark on his videos, sorry about that):

<center><img src="https://screensnapr.com/e/ijUnzT.png" height=293 width=640></center>

The 4 images in this picture are taken from the 2 previous modern warfare games, 2 from MW2 and 2 from COD 4. The rumoured name as you can see is "Nostalgic". I am now going to talk about the 4 images displayed.

The first photo

Yes it's the map crossfire from COD 4!
This is a close up of the first photo,
<img src="https://screensnapr.com/e/eSnNNt.png" height=355 width=612>
If this map pack was faked there would only be 2 ways to fake it, either creating the whole image with an advanced software from scratch or taking a screen shot from your PC or console, the image below is in fact a screen shot from the PC version of the game:
<img src="https://screensnapr.com/e/OfSj8S.png" height=352 width=554>
The only real difference is that there is a bomb site behind the bus on the first photo, this first photo in my opinion is going to support the FAKE side of the argument because there is not enough evidence to prove that it is real.

The Second Photo

Yes its everyone's favourite map Shipment from COD 4!
The close up:
<img src="https://screensnapr.com/e/FLnBPE.png" height=357 width=635>
This angle could not be found anywhere on the PC version of COD 4, if it was faked, they would of had to re-create the whole thing using a very complicated 3D software, here are the 2 possible COD 4 photos:
<img src="https://screensnapr.com/e/HrYecn.png" height=354 width=536>
<img src="https://screensnapr.com/e/DHC2cs.png" height=344 width=536>
In my opinion I could not find enough evidence to support that it was fake, if it was real however, it could be a new and improved version of shipment, which is why I'm going to call this one, in my opinion, REAL

Image number 2:

The third photo

Yes! It's Favela!
The close up:
<img src="https://screensnapr.com/e/MQynDL.png" height=354 width=551>
The console version:
<img src="https://screensnapr.com/e/FpMcZp.png" height=357 width=552>

There are a few pieces of evidence that support the REAL side of the argument here, first of if you look at the 2 photos above, in the centre is a building, there is a white pipe on both of them, on MW2, the pipe is bent, however on MW3 *supposedly*, the pipe is bendy and not at a 90 degree angle. The second feature is the small yellow car, this is in a different position on the MW3 version. Now again like the previous photos the only way this has been faked is if it has been built up with a complicated software, I believe, again in my opinion that this looks like a re-vamped version of the map and that this in fact supports the REAL side of the argument!

Image number 3:
<img src="https://www.parrottrainingreview.com/images/approved.jpg" height=203 width=520>

The third photo

Yes! It's one of the best MW2 maps Terminal!!
The close up:
<img src="https://screensnapr.com/e/QXuBlk.png" height=358 width=629>
The console version:
<img src="https://screensnapr.com/e/5yJIp3.png" height=354 width=629>

There are several things that meet the eye at first glance here, I believe that this definitely wasn't taken from the console, first of the building on the left has no texture in the MW3 version, it is just plain red. There are cones on there on the MW2 version and many other small items, the MW3 version is also missing the tall lamps, so I am now 100% this wasn't taken from the console and as I have said for the past 3 photos, the only way it could have been fake is if it was made with a complicated 3D Software. So, In my opinion, this photo is going to support the REAL side of the argument!

What the boss has to say

Here is a reply to a tweet from fourzerotwo asking if he can confirm the Nostalgic map pack. What he has done is not confirmed it, but not directly denied it, which is what he did with the MOAB/Nuke. He often indirectly answers these questions with answers that appear to be obvious, but they aren't.

Conclusion

With the evidence given, I conclude that this map pack could be real, the tweet doesn't confirm it, but doesn't deny it. Three out of the four photos given were proven (In my opinion) REAL with the evidence show. The only way that they could all possibly be fake is if someone has taken a lot of time to make them from scratch, which is a possibility, but is rather unlikely.

Nostalgic Map pack (In Mudkip's opinion, with the evidence shown):

Personal Opinion + View (Dis-regarding evidence)

I believe that this may not be real, the texture of the maps don't seem Call of Duty like and there is always the possibility that someone has done this themselves, I personally hope that this is real, these maps were some of my favourites and I will be looking forward to playing them if they are released!

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed the little debate!
