1: A POPUP APPEARS

When you start the game, you will get a popup showing one of two messages. It will announce that Back to Karkand is out. If you are a Limited Edition owner, it will say thanks and note that you can now download this expansion pack at no extra charge via the in-game store. If you are a standard edition owner, the popup will announce that Back to Karkand is available for purchase at the in-game store. Hit X to remove the popup window.

2: HEAD TO THE IN-GAME STORE

Go to the main menu. Select “STORE” and hit X to enter it.

3: FIND BACK TO KARKAND IN THE IN-GAME STORE

When in the in-game store, you will find Back to Karkand as one of the items. If you are a Limited Edition owner, the price will be set to 0. If not, it’s yours at $14.99 (or the equivalent in your currency). Select it and make any necessary payment to start the download.

4: FIND YOUR NEW MAPS

There are four new maps in Back to Karkand: Strike at Karkand, Wake Island, Sharqi Peninsula, and Gulf of Oman. After you have downloaded the expansion pack, these maps will all appear exactly the same way as the nine base game maps.

PLEASE NOTE: At the moment, we are experiencing issues with the server browser. Please use the Quick Match filter settings to pick the Back to Karkand map and mode you want to play. Going through the server browser right now will match you up with base game maps only. We are hard at work isolating and fixing this issue and will have an ETA on this later. Stay tuned for more information. In the meantime, using Quick Match will let you select and play on any map, from the base game or Back to Karkand.

5: GO BACK TO KARKAND!

Q: WHY DO I GET RETURNED TO THE MAIN SCREEN?
A: If you do not have Back to Karkand and join a server running a Back to Karkand map in its rotation, you will eventually be returned to the main menu and a message will appear telling you that you did not have the appropriate content installed. You will never risk joining a Back to Karkand server via the Quick Match functionality if you don't have this expansion pack.

I didnt get any of those pop ups, and i have a limited edition. i went to the store and there no Back to Karkland. The only pop i got was EA service and terms bull shit

Anyways, never received a pop-up , had to do it manually and search for it in the store.
