Robert Bowling announced today that they would be adding two new game modes to the Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) playlist and they would be tweaking hardcore game modes. The two new game modes being added to the game are Drop Zone and Hardcore HQ. Drop Zone was previously only available in private matches, point streaks are disabled and the only way to get air support is by "owning" the drop zone and getting the care package that will be dropped every 15 seconds. Hardcore HQ will be added to the Hardcore Team Tactical playlist, and finally team killing will be fixed in hardcore mode. In hardcore mode a player is able to shoot a team mate and he wouldn't suffer any consequences but now with the new playlist update, if you shoot a team mate you'll be the one getting hurt.

We'll be converting all Hardcore modes to Ricochet variant as a response to team killing. This means, any friendly fire, is applied to the attacker, rather than the victim. So choose your shots wisely and any attempt to team kill will simply kill yourself.

The best class for drop zone is a scar-L with red dot and silencer proficiency is attachments a javelin a frag grenade a trophy system to block at least two projectiles/grenades first perk is sleight of hand (pro is available) second perk is blast shield (again pro if available) third perk is sit rep (pro if available) (you can get pro by knifing your own trophy system) use specialist and put whatever you want on and then the rest is all you

Here are some classes i use
M16
Rapid Fire or Silencer
Sleight of Hand
Quick Draw (This takes up for the 3 round burst, meaning ur the first to fire)
marksman(awesome perk for this because alot of people use smoke, and it shows u the name through it)
UMP
silencer or extended mags (i love extended mags because you can keep firing)
sleight of hand
quick draw
steady aim
scar
red dot or extended mags
sleight of hand
quick draw
marksman
i use trophy system
put a stinger on it too

Doesn't matter what strike package you use cause none work on it anyway.

But if i was to say im not going ot play drop zone and stuff and want to go play something else i would use this class and i would care about the strike package i have on so ya like in drop zone it doesnt matter but in like anything else it does
