The issues lie with Skyrim itself. Once your save gets near the 7mb range, you will start experiencing phenominal lag. Its nothing to do with your system as this happens to all PC, 360, and PS3. The actual problem I guess is saving often, making the save/autosave increase everytime by 1 - 50KB. I dont think theres any known fix, from what I've read all we can do is wait for Bethesda to patch it. (However I doubt they will because the same can be said for Fallout 3 which still lags like a bitch)

Sorry man no, except simple tips like when its lagging (during a battle for instance) change to 3rd Person view.
Go into options and turn on Autosave on Wait. Now whenever you want to save Wait on the spot for an hour instead of using Hard Save.
Other than that I'm not sure, can't say I'm the computer expert sorry so can't say about your mouse. Ask the member 'Hells' I'm sure he'll help and know what you need.

My guess would be you only have a graphics card that was pre-installed with the laptop? If so it probably just can't handle the game. Try lowering the graphics settings and resolution, and if it's still lagging there's nothing you can do.

I'm 99% sure this issue is exclusive to consoles.

Hi I got your message Smile

If you have the specs listed on Acer's website You must login or register to view this content. then you will need to run the game on the lowest settings possible, if you are already doing that then the only thing I could suggest is to either put up with it or to upgrade.

My system that I mod skyrim on is similar to your specs and I run it on the lowest setting, any higher and I notice lag (try running it in windowed mode also).

I only really use the pc side of gaming for converting stuff over to the 360 or ps3.

Also unless it's a dedicated gaming laptop I'd stick to gaming on a PC or console

It's both your game and your computer to be honest.
