Here is a brief look at some of the games we can expect to see coming to stores in 2012.
Some games may not be included in this list, and I will add them in when i research more sources and find interesting ones.
As well as new games coming out, there is also a new console on its way, the Wii U, expected to hit stores in the second half of 2012, this new Nintendo console looks like nothing else out there, a console that you can play on your TV, that also comes with a touch screen controller/screen. This video below, which was shown at E3 2011 will explain and show far more than I can show in typed words, so enjoy.
Now onto video games themselves, with every year, more and more series of games are started and finished, highly anticipated games down to unknown games that have just entered the market from no where. This list is mainly filled with the more anticipated games, but as i stated before, i will try and add more in when they are known.
Some of the games are exclusive to one particular console, there are a fair few games heading to the PSVita in 2012 and I will try and label the exclusives for you.
January

I have never really played any of these games, only played Soul calibur a small part, but it wasn't my type of game, to much button bashing involved. I know that Final Fantasy has been around for ages, but has it lost its anticipation yet??

This is the first month where we see the Vita get a boost of new games. Several series like resident evil and uncharted have ported a version of their games over to the handheld console. Uncharted: Golden Abyss is set in the time before Uncharted: Drakes fortune.
As of yet from this list, nothing strikes me as a game I will go out and get yet. As an xbox player, the hand held games don't appeal to me, and some of the actual xbox and ps3 games, i have never heard of.

Now this is when we will start to see the xbox and ps3 games come into the year. A lot of anticipated games will be coming to both consoles. New Tom Clancy game, which many of you will have heard of, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is one of the games that stands out in this list. Mass effect, also being a popular series has a new game coming out in March, and it will also be on both xbox and ps3. A series I didn't know was bringing a game out early 2012 is the new resident evil, which will be on both xbox and ps3. I enjoyed resident evil 5, good graphics, but the character movement and control was difficult to get the hang of.
One game im sort of excited for is the new Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, I played the first one a bit, and it was alright, just there was a lot of room for improvements, but it was fun to play, and the online was exciting. The box art as well draws me in.
April and June

A short list for April and June, but a game I know me and a lot of other people are looking forward to is Prototype 2. Taking place 14 months after tyhe first Prototype, Manhattan has been quarantined and blocked from the other boroughs of New York City. You don't play as Alex Mercer in this game, as he has become a ghost and is only seen rarely and even then only a glimpse of him for a split second can be caught.
You play as Heller who is out for revenge but due to the mutation of the virus, Heller is not completely like Mercer in terms with the virus. which make's Heller's appearance more fluid and organic than Mercer's black and red, metallic coloration.
July - September
Anarchy Reigns
Starhawk
These are the only confirmed games for this period I have found. I know there will be a lot more, but i haven't got round to having a proper look yet at other confirmed games for this period. However, knowing that Starhawk will be out in this time is both delightful but upsetting. Starhawk is a ps3 exclusive, and i haven't got my ps3 anymore so i will miss out on this one
Starhawk will have some extra features that were missing from Warhawk. A single player campaign has been added in, which was removed from warhawk and they kept it to online only. I loved playing Warhawk split screen, it was fun, and its a shame that xbox will be missing out on this sequel.

yea man im going to preorder it if it does come out. there are servers currently running STWB3 on gamespy, so rumors started coming up on it might come out or revealed this year, and yes it was one of the best.

Nope, I expect that to happen end 2013 if the PS4 will probably arrive, even if Sony doesn't want to tell us that.
