I keep firing at other jets but they always kill me first because they have the "lock-on" rockets. Is there any tips you guys can give me please? Thank you!

Try to spam select and kill those people in the ground to unlock the missiles faster and try to do some evasive moves when it comes to jet fights. Also if you get in the enemy jet tail try to kill him fast some of them will try to lose you. Its difficult but when you master it its worth of it.

I don't think I have missiles yet but what will select do?

i was a noob also, and sorry but getting Rockets is no good as everyone has Flares. I suggest you get better with the best weapon for the Jets. The machine gun the normal one. Just Get behind them and Aim Ahead of where they are going and the bullets will hit them. To also get points if your the leader of the squad i suggest you Spot the objective while in the jet and when people kill someone in the base or capture it or defends it you'll get XP for the Jet if you are still on it. Also Fly high and When going Down Slow Down and try to Spot enemy's and try to kill them.

There is no real way to help someone else improve while flying a jet. Guided Missiles aren't as good as they are cracked up to be, mainly because once you get a lock onto someone, they will eject flares/countermeasures the moment you let a rocket go. Try to master the machine gun since that's the only gun that will kill people without having to worry about flares etc.

But if you do decide to use Guided Missiles after you unlock them, it's going to be a pain because if the enemy has flares, you need to wait until after they eject their flares, not exactly after they are deployed but around 5-8 seconds after. But the only problem with doing that is that you need to keep the lock on them which can get extremely hard when people are trying to evade the lock.

Just stick with spotting people, tanks etc. You will get xp, and try sticking with a "wingman" or another teammate in a jet especially if they are good. Because if you can get a couple hitmarkers on the enemy jet, and then your teammate destroys the jet and kills the enemy you will get XP for assist. Hope some of this will help you. :y:

Help me a lot thanks but What about the heat seekers? I also keep getting shot down from other jets because i don't have the IR Flares yet, which is getting me mad. There's no way for me to kill other jets because I keep getting locked on from them...

I'd be willing to get you IR Flares, Heat Seekers and Stealth if you're happy to let me log onto your account for 20 minutes. They're the essential three to start with.

Get up behind the enemy jet, aim above their jet and fire. or just kamikaze them :p (works best with enemy helicopters) when your in a close distance to them, fire like mad and crash into them (you`ll usually get the kill)

Also you need to be quick when getting behind the enemy jet, if he his chasing you.. your screwed if he has heat seekers.

Select will spot some tanks, ground troops, etc. If you want to level the jet fast try getting XP for spot assist or try to kill the people you spotted. This is what i used to get the first 4 unlocks.
