I didn't, and if some of you guys haven't gotten that far yet, when you do, don't do it just so the blades will help you. The greybeards will refuse to help you for the rest of the game if you kill paarthurnax. The greybeards are very useful for finding words of power. Plus he's a friendly dragon

I ended up killing him; not thinking about it ending my relationship with the Greybeard's & the Words of Power.
But I've created a new game & I'm going to join the Stormcloak's & not kill Paarthurnax & try getting all the other trophies.

Kept him alive. Can be useful after you finish the main quest as if you damage him, he will keep healing. Easy levelling up of archery if you need it.

No when I tried hit him here just froze there and would not die. I leveled up my one-handed the full way and leveled up like 10 times he would not die I dont know how it happened lol so he is still alive because he is a glitcher =D

Didn't bother because it wasn't really that important. Although I hate the way he talks so I might kill him :confused:
