I'm not sure if this guy is trolling the enemies, or if he is really that bad at sniping. Anyways, the best sniper spot is actually the tallest crane on Gulf of Oman. You can get there by hopping on your MAV at the base, and flying up. But i've never seen this method for getting on top of the Operation Firestorm tower, so

Knew this for quite some time but i hate sniping from a long distance, i get way too many hitmarkers.. i stick to using the iron sights and snipe aggressively :p

to b a sniper real life and in the game i usually pick the lowest point on the map with a great open view every 1 is gonna look for the highest spot so that s why i have killed so many noobs like this guy pick and area or spot where know 1 w look for u ...... im a vet in real life and in the game...................stay away abt 500 t0 700 meters............. just b unpredictable

Nah. Best spot is one where you are just above level with your target zone and can account easily for bullet drop. Crane on Oman is nice and all but I prefer to be about 2 or 3 stories higher than my target, not 20. Although i must say about the crane on Oman, if you want a challenge, aim for the driver of a dpv. Fun.

EDIT: Watched the video all the way through, I hate spray and pray snipers. Sniping is about skill, precision, and stealth. Firing 11 bullets and not hitting a thing is sad. (Hyperbole) Also, I wish console had 5 bases and more people in a game. The games go too fast when I get in a chopper or pull out a sniper rifle.

Still gotta be able to hit the target which I fail at. A sniper should be a one hit kill considering in real life, you will die from one body shot.

Not exactly. You have to take into account the power of the rifle, how far away the target is, what type of bullet you are using, and, realistically, what gear the bullet has to hit on the soldier before it hits his body. Also where did the bullet hit? A bullet hitting below the left soldier and is a through and through wound may or may not kill someone depending on what it hit going through. A bullet going through the center of your chest or left center has a much better chance at killing you due to the amount of vital organs that area.

Damn, shows I know nothing about guns outside of games and movies. I guess I just feel cheated when I hit someone with a sniper shot and they can run to cover before I can drop them with the second shot. At least take away their ability to sprint or jump. No way you can do that in real life unless it was your hand shot off.
