No, it only shows as Free instead of £11.99/$14.99 if you have a BF3 Limited Edition online pass in your download list, even if he goes on your account it will still show £11.99/$14.99.

oh i see now, becuase every account has the pass if 1 downloads it, but it will only be free if that 1 account downloads it

Every account can use the pass, it doesn't show on every account's download list, if he went to Account Management>Transaction Management>Services List>BATTLEFIELD 3 it says Limited Edition, this ''service'' works in a similar way as PlayStation Plus by handing out discounts to accounts with that service, but in this case the discount is 100%.
