I was wondering, though, what weapons would you recommend? I like guns that have good accuracy and good range, and I might buy B2K for that sexy FAMAS. I just want a general idea of what guns I would be looking forward to use when playing the game.

For me;

Assault: AN-94, G3A3, and L85A2 (unlocked through B2K assignment), with Reflex RDS, Bipod and Heavy Barrel.
Engineer: HK53 also known as G53, with Reflex RDS, Foregrip and Laser Sight.
Support: MG36, M240B, RPK-74M, M27-IAR, Type 88, and PKP, with either Reflex RDS, Holographic RDS or M145 Sight, ALWAYS Bipod and Extended Magazine.
Support: M40A5, even though statistically it's the worst sniper rifle, I love it. 8x Rifle Scope (no gay ass 12x), Straight Pull Bot and Laser Sight.

Some people say the majority of the weapons and attachments I use are terrible, yet I just see it as a way of improving your skill. If you do exceptionally well with shit weapons and attachments, you'll rape guys who use "OP" or overused guns. Just my 2 cents. :p

Tbh most of the guns are good. Only ones which are pretty meh PDWs.

P90 is an amazing gun :y: but that unlocks at level 40 so not really usefull for a bigginer but id advise u to use the pp-2000 :y:

The FAMAS is single handedly the best AR in the game. You can use any attachment to great success.

I don't really use Engineer, but a Suppressed SCAR-H is my pick. It kills in 3-4 shots at any range.

For support... all the LMGs are good. I prefer the PKP Pecheneg and M249.

Recon... All the bolt actions are pretty much the same. It's also really fun to use the M39 EMR.

For sidearms...ONLY USE THE 93R. It completely destroys the others.

Use everything! theres not a single gun that sucks!
