If you got the limited edition version of the game you could have got B2K free.

It comes with 4 maps, 10 new guns you can unlock, new vehicles, and new achievements/trophies. IMO the maps are only good for Conquest, Rush doesn't have jets. :p Weapons are worth it I think. The FAMAS, L96, and a few others are good guns. If you really like BF3 and think you'll be playing a good amount I would definitely get it.

It has some of the best close combat maps in the game mixed with bigger maps
5 flag version of the maps pretty much the best BF3 has.
3 flag is ok......
If your going to play the game alot then worth having.

Wake island is one the best maps around

I only played conquest so don't know how the rush version plays

The maps are old maps from other Battlefield games.

This is not like COD which is a MAP PACK. Battlefieldhas EXPANSION PACKS. Meaning it includes Gun, new Vehicles and new challenges and Dogtags and Maps.

The maps are from Battlefield 2 but they are re-mastered with the FROSTBITE 2 engine. Worth it? hell yeah. Who wouldn't like New Meapons, New Vehicles New dogtags and Maps?

If you play battlefield 3 regularly then yes.
Like the guys said above, you get new jets, vehicles, assignments and more.
And the destruction is improved a LOT from the default maps, you can completely demolish quite a lot of buildings :p

Not to worried about the jets TBH. They usually involve me flying perfectly straight and going out of bounds, fuck knows how you are meant to turn... I'll just stick to what I'm good at, murder... muhahahahahaha
