It will work until the 27th for ps3 users. The latest patch will be addressing it. I think it's good for them to address it in the way it is used in the video above. But I feel that if I die after putting down c4 and as soon as I spawn again and detonate it, is should still go off. But I could see how people would say it's unfair and shit.
