So I know I'm kinda late with beating this game.. but I got the game 4 days late. Just Leave your thoughts/opinion/theories about the Mass Effect 3 ending, possible DLC or Sequel

Which Ending Did You Choose?

I chose to destroy the red pod and eliminate the reapers for good, the "Renegade"/Red option. Why? Because the renegade option is actually the paragon option, the Reapers are just indoctrinating (mind control/dreaming state) you to think that "controlling" the Reapers would be more effective and morale rather than destroying all of the reapers and mass relays. I'd rather rebuild cities and try to remake the mass relays, than being possibly overrun with the Reapers again in the future....

*Side Note*My paragon and reputation was maxed out, Everyone survived in my ME2 Suicide mission, and I collected almost every bit of war supplies for the military readiness. So when the explosion of the crucible spread throughout earth, the soldiers DID NOT disintegrate and they were cheering as the Reapers started dying. In some other videos I saw some people chose the same ending as me but I realized that the soldiers on earth got disintegrated by the Crucible blast. The endings are most likely affected by paragon/renegade levels and military strength.



Thoughts/Opinion on the Ending Scene

All in all this was just one hell of a game and did not disappoint at all in terms of gameplay 32+ hours on it so . Ok... so about the ending. There were so many articles about how the fans hated the ending because it left the fans to decide for themselves in their heads what the galaxy was going to be like, now that you wiped out the reapers or decided to control them. and on your diplomatic decision throughout the game (taking sides of certain planets etc. etc.). This left players with uncertainty, confusion, and overall it gave most fans no REAL closure. In my opinion, if Bioware is planning to make a sequel to Mass Effect 3 then I think this ending was great and amazing. BUT if Bioware is not planning a sequel and this ending was a wrap up of the Mass Effect trilogy... then I think it was a pretty bad ending.


Opinions About the Game in General

I was kinda of pissed that Bioware made the multiplayer a bit too essential to SINGLE PLAYER mode -__-... The "readiness" bar would be stuck at 50% if you did not play any multiplayer modes and would cut your Total Military strength in half, hence the 50%. This forces you to do almost EVERY little side mission and scan a ton of planets in order to gain enough military strength for your attack. (I think around 4000-5000 Effective Military Strength, so around 8000-10000 in Total Military Strength).

I'm just highly agitated that Bioware would actually release an ending to a game with this many plot holes and story misfits. Also to all of those who believe in the indoctrination theory this video shows why it is a kick in the balls to all ME fans.

if you get the ending where Shepard lives that whole idea is crap cause it leaves it open for some type of continuation say more dark horse comics or books , and in future im sure they will bring back the series in some way it made way to much money not to continue the game

That's what I hope Bioware is planning. Making a sequel or some sort of DLC for closure on the whole series.

I really disliked the fact of watching your squad die.... Garrus and Liara are souch memorable characters, Bioware needs to fix thing like that
