This was a highly anticipated patch including many fixes, new features, and a few things we didn't know about. I'm making this thread to see your reactions. Was it good or bad? What do you like about the patch? What don't you like? Post your reactions below.

Haven't played it.. Been stuck working on my final paper for school.. Almost done :?D. Though I have had the game open since release (of patch) attempting to rent a server.

I do not like the whole shortcut thing.. I mean I guess if people want to fork out the money to get guns early that's cool. Uhhh I see a-lot of bitching from people on the internet about this patch. Majority seem to be whiny 12 year-olds and ex-cod players. O yeah and don't forget the USAS douches..

I like it. Playing on custom servers is fun

just got a new longest hs awesome for new peps is great bcse now they can just buy the sniper or any other class weapons without having to play 4 it ....

Ik. The shortcut thing is kinda stupid. Forget the people bitching about the patch, I think it makes it much more realistic. Especially the tank blowing up choppers and jets. I was on canals before the patch and a little bird was landed behind where our z11w spawns. So i took a tank back there and blasted the chopper. Believe it or not, it killed the guys inside BUT left the chopper with 80% health. I was like :lol: and took it. Now if i do tht the chopper is F'ed.

The game is a bit more unstable now pixie. Although it looks much better, the PS3 doesn't have the best of hardware like gaming computers. I noticed both me and my friends were freezing constantly. The ps3 doesn't have enough ram. I usually freeze on BF3 once every other day. No biggy. Now I freeze every 10 games or so? wth.

Most large patches pushed by DICE for the BF serious tend to cause some kind of issue regarding whether or not the game is stable. I recall in BFBC2 they released a few patches which got a-lot of attention, one of which turned me away from the serious for a while.

I personally think the shortcut thing is stupid, and i'm freezing a lot too.

Is your anti-aliasing on or off? I tried turning mine off and it kinda helped.
