So to the people who use it, have you experienced this? Here is a video showing the bug.



EDIT: It also seems that not only do Jet heat seekers not hit other jets, but Attack Helicopters and Stingers also do not hit 90% of the time.

Yes I also experienced this.

Noticed it too. Although I dont use em myself. I noticed I wasn't being hit from behind with heat seekers.

Hay man just about to post a thread concerning this. I have noticed this lately, but i thought it was just me missing the target.

It's because jets can apparently outrun the heat seekers.. >.> When they come at you, you can just blow afterburners and get away scotch free.
Pretty stupid

They got nerfed. If you haven't noticed, stingers and aa missiles & their range of locking on has been reduced drastically. So has the chance of hit apparently, but they buffed the damage of em. It now takes one stinger to disable an aircraft, which is pretty damn stupid imo.

Or you can turn a 180 degree angle, turn into the missile, kick in the afterburns, and the missile goes past your face.

Heat seekers are broken.. they don`t even hit helicopters for me & No the guy doesn`t have flares or ecm..

Yeah, I was trying it out in my rented server and nothing would hit anything... I don't play conquest a lot so I'm not to sure about its jets but Rush jets (which don't have afterburner) can't be taken down at all unless the pilot flies head on in to the missiles... >.<

yea i was so annoyed cause i wanted to steal the VIPER but the stingers didn work
