A new rumor has sprung up which suggests that GTA 5 might just be headed for a 2012 release date after all, the rumor originated from the Curriculum Vitae of an animator who accidentally left GTA 5 as one of his involved projects which INCLUDES the release date of said game.

There are many problems with the pre-release of GTA 5, fans don’t know what to be excited for, aside from a single trailer, fans have nothing more to go on and are constantly speculating on what can and can’t come in GTA 5.

GTA 5 made its way on to the CV of an animator and he listed Grand Theft Auto 5 as one of his “Shipped Titles” Giving it a date of October 2012, whether this is the real release date of GTA 5 is yet to be decided but as far as I can see the CV does look pretty legitimate but who knows what the future can hold for GTA 5, maybe Rockstar has long changed the release date of the game and we aren’t even aware of it.

None of this is rock solid information and I believe we need to wait for more info released by Rockstar themselves, but for now, this is the only bit of info we have on the release date and hopefully it is one of the only rumours that may be correct at this time.

Got me excited when I saw the title in the latest posts section.
Really should be more clear.

Anyway, still excited. This was the date I was hoping for, now all I want is actual gameplay.

October is a really bad date.. im going to pre-order bo2 and i need money for clothes etc.. no money left. guess im going to pirate it. Do what you want cause a pirate is free, you are a pirate!

Honestly this has me kind of geeked.. If you look at the last couple of games they were all released before Christmas SA- October, 3- October, 2- September and the odd ball was 4 released in April. Though I do believe it was due for an October release.

Now it's time to wait and see.

Why don't you just pirate bo2 and give the money to a developer who actually is worth it?!

When the title is "GTA 5 release date revealed", what else do you expect me to think?! We don't see the rumour part until we enter the thread.

I guess we'll just have to wait for Rockstar to confirm the date. Can't wait for this to be released, it sounds pretty sick :p

I think all games should be released on the months june, july or august. Summer in my opinion is the best time to release games as you have much more time to play them. Nevertheless I'm excited for GTA and hope It does come out in October even though I won't have much time to play It.
