"We are currently working together with EA and BioWare on an implementation to bring Mass Effect 3 multiplayer weekends to PS3," a Sony representative told Shacknews.
Although that's not as specific as PS3 users would like it to be, it's definitely a good sign. Back when Bioware addressed this problem, it didn't sound like much would be done to solve it. At least now there's some assurance that it may be coming in the near future.
One thing that remains unknown is whether BioWare would start from the beginning and have PS3 always one step behind, or if it'd launch at the same spot Xbox and PC are at. It'd probably be in the best interest of PS3 gamers to have it start from the beginning for them, that way they won't miss out on all the events that have already passed.
