game God of War Ascension, is working on a new shooter IP (intellectual property) that
could quite possibly become a reality.

Sony has recently put out a job listing for a senior combat designer with experience in first or third
person shooters. Some criteria for the position include:
- People who have designed vehicle combat in a game before
- Overseeing boss designs through from concept to execution
- A variety of tuning functions including "magic distribution"
Right now, my vision includes Kratos fighting Zeus and other Gods with levitating tanks and jeeps that shoot beams
of sparkly rainbows. Yeah, there is no way I'm wrong on this one. Keep an eye out for a new title (besides
GOW: Ascension) from Santa Monica in the future.
Do you think Santa Monica studios can pull of a shooter? Or would you rather them stick with the hack and slash
God of War style games?

I honestly don't know what to make of the criteria, and what type of shooter this new IP might be.
