It also may include potential items like a Skyrim mount as a Dota 2 item courier. In the interview, the Skyrim mount was just an example that Newell gave, but wouldn't be all that surprising because Team fortress 2 already has a number of items that cross over with other steam titles.
Dota 2 has no release date and is currently in closed beta testing.
