However, it did make sense when I read that it was being made by Zenimax Online Studios, and they have been working on the game for the past few years. I think all Elder Scrolls fans have been dreaming of this because I know I have, and it's finally happening! I'm not sure what ever happened to that Fallout Online game that was supposed to be production :ha!:, but I like this better anyways. Apparently a teaser trailer will be released tomorrow along with a screenshot, then much more information will revealed in the June issue of Gameinformer. There is no official release date yet, but the gameinformer article says 2013.

this isnt exactly new news if your surprised they announced they were starting a mmo game based around either fallout or elder scrolls a few years back but got tied up with some other projects and couldn't start as early as liked , biggest reason they went elder scrolls is its one of the most requested features every game but either way this is great news if your a fan of their games

This is gonna be so epic.

Not looking forward to the elder scrolls going MMO, but it seems that everything is. While I applaud the idea I am just hoping that this doesn't stop the sp aspect of the series, otherwise I will be disappointed.

Honestly I cannot wait I really hope They have the same rank system and all and you can use magic or sword and shield or bow. They should also put in different armor so say for example get 2000 kills with something and unlock a new piece of armor =)
