Post: MW3 - No Classic Maps in Paid DLC, ELITE Clan Challenges Leaked

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); As the hype for Black Ops 2 begins, some details have emerged regarding DLC from the Call of Duty official forums. A disgruntled user You must login or register to view this content. in the forum, asking for more clarity on the Downloadable Content (DLC) schedule for Premium Call of Duty: ELITE members. Also included in this article, details leaked about Call of Duty: ELITE Clan Challenges.

In the forum post, the user pointed out that latest two drops were announced and released within a very short time period (a few days). In reply, the Infinity Ward developer stated “we’ll attempt to give you a better heads up on release timing moving forward. One of the issues we face is we sometimes don’t receive release date notification from the first parties and internal QA until late in the day.”

Back in February, ex Infinity Ward employee Robert Bowling You must login or register to view this content. he would love to release Classic Maps for free. Also, game files were found that hinted maps from previous Modern Warfare titles would be supported in Modern Warfare 3. But, in the developers reply on the forum, he said ”I can confirm that paid DLC will consist of all new maps, missions etc.” This confirms that classic maps will not be included in the MW3 DLC content drops or collections.

In related MW3 news, a new screenshot of Clan Challenges from ELITE was snapped. Initially, Clan Challenges were promised to be one of Elite’s features. We have not heard any more information from Activision, Infinity Ward or Beachhead Studios. Here is the screenshot which contains an introduction to Clan Challenges:

The following information is directly from the above screenshot. It contains details about the Clan Challenges:

Daily Clan Challenges

  • Earn Clan XP and badges for acquiring specified MW3 accolades a certain number of times throughout the day. Awards are delivered within a few hours of completing the challenge.
  • Daily Challenges begin every day at 12:00 AM PST, lasting through 11:59 PM PST.
  • Free and premium clan members contribute to each day’s challenge.

Weekly Clan Challenges

  • Earn Clan XP and badges for hitting cumulative MW3 milestones across total kills, headshots, assists or score. Awards are delivered within a few hours of completing the challenge.
  • Each challenge begins every Monday starting at 12:00 AM PST, lasting through the following Sunday at 11:59 PM PST.
  • Free and premium clan members contribute to each week’s challenge.

I would like to see the Clan Challenges feature in MW3 before Black Ops 2 is released. It wouldn't hurt to have some new ways to rank up your clan. As for the Classic Maps, I am a little disappointed. I loved the way MW2's maps were designed as opposed to MW3. There is still a chance the classic maps may be included outside the normal DLC model, but I think that is unlikely at this stage. What do you think about Clan Challenges? Would you participate in them? And, if classic maps were going to be released but not included in the ELITE drops, would you pay for them?

Pr0n ftw
And yet another reason of why call of duty is going downhill, massive amount of faggotry coming straight from the developers, those bitches, if I had them in my face I would say "fuck you", just straight up, to all of them, why wouldn't they wanna listen to the community? This is probably why 402 quit, cuz they're all bitches, bitching.

I don't mean to intrude, but this post was strongly ironic.
