the next Xbox console.

Flextronics, the name of the manufacturing company, has done a lot of previous work for
Microsoft as they also manufactured the Xbox 360 as well as the original Xbox console. It has
also been reported that Flextronics has created an internal testing group to handle the hardware,
software, and marketing aspects of the project.

Attention, as I should have said don't get your hopes up. Simply because the models being made
now are likely just development kits. So no there aren't going to be any surprises at E3 this year
from Microsoft. Microsoft had this to say when asked about it:

We are always thinking about what is next for our platform and how to continue to defy the lifecycle convention. Beyond that we do not comment on rumors or speculation."

Indeed in the end, this is just another rumor to throw with the rest of them. I don't know
when the newest console from Microsoft will be revealed or announced. But what do you all
think? Will it be shown at next years E3? Or sometime later than that?

Well I don't think I will be buying this just because the fact that Microsoft charges for stupid stuff like playing online. PlayStation 4 will also be more beast obviously.

Can't say stuff like that when no info on either has been confirmed.

Well here's the thing on me making that statement. Sony always has the newest and best technology right when it's available to them. Now Microsoft has access to the same technology as well as the money to do so. Yet, they don't do it because they want to be able to make another console that's better sooner to make more money. It's good marketing strategy and it works wonders for them obviously because people continue to buy Xbox consoles.

:ha!: I have nothing against the Wii U, but unfortunately, Nintendo isn't pushing its boundaries. It'll be a powerful system
no doubt, but not nearly as powerful as the other next-gen consoles.

I think next year at E3, although I wouldn't complain if it was this year. If as the rumour states, Microsoft are already manufacturing it, it could well be this year.

However, as you said, it is only a rumour at this stage. Great work Chaz Smile

Yeah agreed. It always happens that when we get closer and closer to a big reveal of something,
the rumors start to pour out in dozens. Personally I believe that its being manufactured already.
But like the article said, I think its just for development reasons and Microsoft trying to get together
a prototype of some sort.
