As it has been presented, Black Ops II (Ran by Treyarch, this time around) will feature a somewhat advanced warfare. IW does not like this, as it is a breach in contract. According to this contract, Treyarch should not be even using modern weapons. So now IW is suing Activision. What does the future hold for the new Black Ops? Will we have a new Call Of Duty this year? Some details are yet to be released, but by the looks of it Black Ops is in hot water.

Clause

"Activision will retain authority and responsibility over all titles within the 'Call of Duty' franchise (specifically excluding any 'Call of Duty' title set in modern day (post Vietnam). the near future or distant future, which shall be under the authority of IW consistent with and subject toSections 2(a) and (b)). including all creative, development and publishing decisions; provided that IW will be entitled to receive a residual IP bonus and a technology bonus from products published under the 'Call of Duty' brand as outlined inSection 3(d)."

And yet another reason to hate IW.
They've gone completely down hill since COD4, Treyarch have made the only good COD games since CoD4.
