I'm wearing Deadric (and a deadric shield and everything is legendary) everywhere and armor rating is at- 1247

i usually wear daedric armor but nightingale is hands down my favorite armor, wear it wherever i go but not during combat since daedric on my character is legendary

you have to upgrade it at a blacksmith station with usually whatever the armor mine was.... so for ebony armor to improve it you'd need ebony ore
