Today i want to talk about the defibrillator in Battlefield 3. The defibrillator is one of the most handy tools in the battlefield franchise, you can revive people and kill people. The problem is that people don't know how kill people with it properly. First of all why would you kill someone using the defibrillator when you have a gun? When you use your defibrillator you will not show up on the map, but when using a unsilenced gun you will. Second of all, admit it, it's amazing to kill people with the defibrillator .

When trying to kill someone using a defibrillator you should know were to aim. I asked battlefield on twitter and they replied that i had to aim for the clavicle (marked red).

you could also aim for the inter mass, so the upper body.

now that you know where to aim we will talk about the way of killing. You need to touch the enemy (so make contact). then aim for the clavicle and HOLD your shoot button. if you keep tapping it you won't get the kill. so hold your left mouse button, R1 or RT button. keep holding it untill your enemy drops dead to the floor .

It's not easy to kill someone using the defibrillator, you might have to practise it. My advice is to go to a very large map (operation firestorm, caspian border, sharqi) and search for someone who's recon and kill him with your defibrillator.

I remember in the beta it killed when it touched someone, even a team mate. :ha!: I thought you couldn't kill with it anymore, but I will have to try this.

It's pretty difficult to do, I thought you couldn't get kills with it until a few months ago when I accidentally killed an enemy with it! I had no idea there was a set place you needed to get them to kill them.

I'll be sure to try this out next time I am playing BF3

BC2's Defib was much better in my opinion, it would be good if it was like BC2's. :p
