Getting past the loop isn't hard at all, their are several methods of doing it.. I'll say this much you can replace a .sco in the update.img and get past the endless loop. It took me around 30 minutes to figure this out, it isn't difficult really at all. And if anyone wants to play with some mods online add JumpOnDeeseNuts, currently using Dudeitsbrians script mods.

This is not an hard challenge you're not the first to accomplish this... it was first produced by Hunter12 (Hunter128 on PSN).

Thing's needed:
SCOCL Tool's and something to decrypt/encrypt the img files back.
