Install the latest pkg for your game.

NOTES
If you think you messed up, try re-install a clean patch via the update pkg.

- GTA IV, may create a new save.
- Old saves may not work.
- You may not be able to complete the story mode of the game.
- Keyboard Scripts are removed from DrX Clans's Menu, due to crashing(disconnect lobby/freeze ps3)
- Dont worry you can do just about everything between JDMAlex/ThreeSocks Menu & Doctor X Clans.
- Dont use the Robot! command. This works sometimes but mostly freezes ps3.
- Dont go insane spawning objects or clicking commands, unless you wish to freeze your ps3.

So when you say install the game, do you mean back it up to my 3.55 PS3?, and also is TDM, Team Death Match? and what other gamemodes are there? Sorry for these questions, I haven't played GTA in a long time!

He means when you first ever play gta4 on a ps3, it installs its trophy data + other important files, during the loading screens.(lolipop girl)
so you do not have to back it up on your 3.55, just make sure can actually play in game.

u got the freeze screen cause the update 1.06 replaces the eboot.bin and another files...
Try to get update here, in /search.
After, u install the mod.
/edit: Go to the top of page, there u can get the 1.06 patch to install.
