(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Right, well, as soon as I saw gameplay on Youtube clips, to when I got Close Quarters today, all i've been seeing is people planting C4 on the capture point, running away, and as soon as they see it being capped they detonate it. People getting triples, quads galore.
To me, it may be a good tactic, but, I mean it's Close Quarters for a reason, it doesn't take long to reach a capture point to defend it, and in a way it just ruins it, and when you're capturing, it's annoying as.
Obviously you can check for C4, but it's a bit annoying, you shouldn't expect to blow up as soon as you reach an objective.

Thats what happens when battlefield tries to be like Modern Wankfare. Just throw a grenade around the capture points before capturing it, should see your problem off. This happens to me sometimes though on normal maps, but that's probably my own fault for being a careless noob lol..

very useful for defending flags,even if it is on close quarters,the flags capture much faster so you cant just run over and defend it b4 they cap it.
and yh just lob a grenade at every flag b4 u cap it lol especially on close quarters.

I got a 7 kill C4 at B on Operation 925 in the parking garage. Taught them C4 bitches right. (Their whole team was using it)

It's so stupid. If someone uses it, then I use it, then soon everyone's using it... I hope to see admins ban C4 usage. Even without squad explosives, 3 C4 packs on an objective can wipe out a squad. This is just dumb.

Completely agree, it's a vicious circle haha. Someone's gonna get pissed at others using it, then they're gonna use it for themselves. It'll literally just turn into C4 massacre. And yeah, 2 packs of C4 killed me and 3 others, it's a joke, I mean explosives besides frags on CQ anyway?





Yeah, the grenade thing does work sometimes, it's just a bit annoying having to think that you need to remember to lob a frag every time you go to capture an objective, it shouldn't be like that. It's even more annoying when the C4 doesn't get destroyed and you still get blown into little pieces :p

c4 on flags on cq is ok to collect his 10 c4 kills BUT to do it the complet match its 1 skillless 2 boring as hell so i think its annoying the most servers switched allready on ps3 the rules & u will get kicked if u use c4 on the flag

Annnoying ? maybe only if people abuse it and you are not smart enough to counter it.
As for kicking people for abusing it , i don't see why...unless they are bunny hopping and lag switching i see no reason why to kick people.

It is starting to get annoying to be killed by C4 by some faggot who is hiding behind walls, or above the flag then just throw C4 and detonate it. I know they sped up the Capture time but its still annoying.

Don't know if the kicking this was aimed at me or not, if it is, I didn't even say that.
As for the "smart enough to counter it", that doesn't change the fact that you shouldn't have to run around like a sniffer dog looking for C4 before you capture a flag.

Yea it can be annoying having to check a flag before you take it. Most of the time when you counter it people stop abusing it.
Engineer kit can pick up the C4 if you just touch the flag you can get away with picking up most of it and making the bang smaller

When people abuse it annoys me alot but not that bad. I don't understand why DICE never changed the damage values for it on CQ vs other maps to counter the smallness.
