(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys I took my best shot at editing dead island for ps3 as I did for Xbox, but to no avail I have all the extracted saves for ps3 a extracted Xbox save a decrypted Xbox save, and the editor I use for Xbox, the editor decrypts it then allows hex editing read the read me and pm me if you need more items there's no virus scan as I don't know how to let alone make a virus si anyway if anyone thinks they can do any better give it a shot! Basically what we need done is to make the save recognizable by that editor

I don't think that we can currently mod Dead Island through a savegame. Xbox uses a different save method than PS3. Xbox has save_0, save_1, save_x.sav file which are savegame files. They decrypt this and use either a hex editor or a Save Game Editor to change values in the save and then save it once finished.

Correct, but when the save was extracted guess what the folder name is? Profile some mumbo jumbo then save_0 and you cn edit your level through it, if you would lik to know how that's all I have found

Open up the files in a hex editor until you find the one with your character name etc and it'll show their level you have to be At least level 10 to do the level hack otherwise if you insert a byte it'll corrupt it just change the 1 in 10 to a 6 lol

Nevermind. You were looking in the PARAM.SFO. If you change it, it doesn't change anything other than the description of the save.

Also The File Names Are COJ2, Which Is Call of Juarez 2. If You Know How To Extract COJ2 Saves Then Youre Good. Its Ease To Mod lol. Basically The Same Method As PC :carling:
