I had an encounter with a mod on their forum website who would close my topics within minutes of me posting them, and for no reason. I posted my last topic and briefly mentioned how he had been closing them for no reason. The dude flips his lid, and upon seeing him get his panties in a wad I decided to stop posting or risk getting le ban hammer. A few hours later I got back on and sent him an apology just to be safe and I was being kind of rude I'll admit. Next thing I know the dude permabanned me AFTER I had apologized. No warning, reason, or chance to appeal was given which by their rules is required. Later on in the server I asked this guy why he didn't ban me until after I apologized. His response was that my apology wasn't worded exactly how he wanted and that he saw my apology as an insult. I said "So wait... you're telling me if someone doesn't say things exactly how you see fit, you simply ban them?!". He said yes and told me if I didn't drop the subject and quit bitching he would permaban me on the server as well. Naturally I contact an admin, because after all this guy is only a mod, and I don't care what you have shoved up your ass, a mod has NO right to behave in that manner unprovoked lest they be a child or have serious issues. The admin was shocked and said she would look into it. Two days later (today) this guy gets online, pm's me "******s don't play Minecraft". Then permabans me from the server with the message "Wanna insult me behind my back? I hope you enjoy finding a new server! -cats213". No warning, false reason, and no chance to appeal. Apparently reporting him to admin for being corrupt was an insult, as was a sincere apology. I'm pretty mad, I did a lot on that server, but that doesn't matter now. I've accepted that I've lost all my stuff, but one thing still bothers me, and that's the fact that this corrupt mod is still going to be doing his thing, and by the sounds of it this wasn't his first incident with that kind of behavior. Is there any way I can get back at this guy? I don't want to mess with the server or anything, those people worked hard and all the other mods/admin are cool in my book and are great at their jobs. But this one mod... I want him to see the error of his ways.

I don't think that would do much good and might waste your time. You can if you want though and thanks for the concern. I think if me reporting him didn't do anything but piss him off I doubt someone else reporting him would do much else either. This wasn't this mods first rodeo either. Other people had complained he was corrupt as well. Naturally I assumed they were just butthurt about getting in trouble and such but I guess they were right. Like I said, I don't want to do anything drastic like mess the server up, it's just that one person alone I want to deal with. I'm surprised the other mods/admin stood by and watched him ban me like that. I've been nothing but nice to them, and helpful to everyone on that server. Some people just want to watch the world burn, right? =P I tried using a proxy to get past the IP ban and talk to another admin about it, but idk much about that stuff and it didn't work.
