How to install Skyrim Mods:

There are two ways to install mods on Skyrim, the way I will show you is super easy and reliable.

First off what you want to do is download Nexus Mod Manager, you can download it from here: You must login or register to view this content. You will need to create an account on the Nexus site to use to ModManager, if you don't want to create an account you can easily look around for a cracked version of the program.

When installing the Mod Manger you might get an error saying you don't have permission, just close the program and run as administrator and it should work, it will then come up asking you to enter the path for your Skyrim folder, like this:
You must login or register to view this content.
obviously set yours to the path of your Skyrim folder.

Now that we have the mod manger installed, all that is left is mods. You can get mods from here: You must login or register to view this content.

Once you have some mods downloaded open the mod manger and click the button that looks like a jigsaw puzzle piece make sure it's add mod from file not url:
You must login or register to view this content.

Then chose the .rar file of the mod you wish to install like so:
You must login or register to view this content.

This will pop up at the bottom of the mod manger, telling you the status of the mod, most mods are prepared on a few seconds:
You must login or register to view this content.

Click on the mod you wish to install, then click the other jigsaw piece with the arrow:
You must login or register to view this content.

Once it is installed it will come up with a tick beside the mod. Now most mods are placed in the data folder of your Skyrim directory, means that you will have to tick them from on the Skyrim launcher, which is this:
You must login or register to view this content.

Now as you can see the option to select data files is blacked out and unclickable, here is how to fix that.

Go to your Skyrim saves folder, which is located in your my games folder, C:\Users\xxxxxxxxx\Documents\My Games\Skyrim

Open the Skyrim folder and edit the file called "SkyrimPref.ini" add this line to the top of it, "[Launcher] bEnableFileSelection=1" and then click save.

Now if we re-open the Skyrim launcher you will see that the Data Files option is now clickable:
You must login or register to view this content.

If you click on it a box will appear with a list of the mods you have installed, simply tick the ones you wish to use and click okay, once Skyrim is loaded up your mods will be working and active:
You must login or register to view this content.

I don't recommend using more than 10 mods at once tho otherwise your Skyrim.esm file which holds all game data can become corrupt.
