I'm looking for a free roam game that I could spend hours on end having fun with, like GTA or Saints Row. I tried Skyrim, but I got really bored after a while as all you do is run around and do quests. I'm open to any suggestions, but i'd rather buy a multiplayer game as singleplayer is a one and done deal with me. I finish the story mode, and I never play it again.

Hmm for Open world you could try something like:
- WoW private server, fun of WoW but free (I enjoy it)
- Border Lands is an open world fps that has a coop feature (I like it)
- Minecraft can be fun, as long as you have people to play with (I like it)
- Red Dead Redemption, another huge open world FPS, very very fun. (I loved it)
- Fallout 3
- Infamous Series (Very very fun)

If you need non-huge open world games, just ask.

You should try a complete different genre, it will widen your gaming.

Try Dragon's Dogma!!! its exactly what you are looking for. its totally free roam and it has some multiplayer interaction. It came out in may so its fairly new but the combat system and boss fights are like no other... i cant put it down. you cant actually play with other people but you can rent out their characters to help you on quests and give them items and experience as a reward. oh yea... AND YOU CAN LEVEL UP 200 TIMES!!! plus there is an incredibly hard community boss that everyone helps to fight and so far only about 50 people in the world have killed (on xbox) the spells and moves are endless and each person can equip up to 6 different attacks. also there are 3 base classes to choose from but then you can combine those and the ones you make to create endless possibilities. its a one of a kind game and for whatever reason its relativity unheard of. i just picked it up a few days ago and i got it for like $45 at gamestop on sale. its deffinetly worth looking into.

Ratchet and Clank is great fun, the new one "Ratchet and Clank HD Collection" has three games in it, and it's pretty cheap. Red Dead Redemption is amazingly fun. When you finish the story their is a lot of things to do. Hunting is brilliant and will entertain you for hours.

mafia 2 gave me an amazing experience!

Get an 8-bit Nintendo and buy Silver Surfer.......No seriously Batman Arkham City is one of the best games out. I have all the trophies and still play just to beat up thugs.
