I'll take a guess at another possibility? I'm going to assume you can't connect on your Jailbroken but you can on your 4.20, am I correct? If so I recommend you *try* to reset your router, bypassing the FW update seems to cause quite a bit of lag (at least for me) and that can't connect to game provider is typically from connection.

I would find it kind of strange they would go the length to Console Ban you but not ban your account (which would be easier for them)

is the lobby to get the rank 10 trophy only and then you return to your level or you stay on level 10 ?

Exactly. They would have moved pretty rapidly by now and released a 1.07 game update if they were going to start caring. I'm pretty confident that all resources at Rockstar will be focused on GTA5 rather than a game that's 4 years old and more than lived out it's life.

Its less likely a ban. have you forgotten the XBOX mods? if they cared they would've banned people and patched the mods on XBOX before coming to PS3 as the xbox has less security aka you can mod any game
