(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); As you have heard recently that Battlefield 4 has been confirmed. If you pre-order Medal of Honor: Warfighter you will get access to the Battlefield 4 beta which is the fall of 2013. Below is a video of Medal of Honor: Warfighter game play with creative director of multiplayer Kristoffer Bergqvist.

This video has all the community's questions answered by Kristoffer Bergqvist. A lot of new multiplayer features were outlined as well. Medal of Honor: Warfighter comes out October 26, 2012 to PS3, Xbox360, and PC platforms.

Now, let's get into what this article is about which is next-gen consoles and if they're being released anytime soon? Well, now we have some evidence that these new consoles may not even be out till after 2014. Beta's are generally 3-6 months before release date to make sure most bugs and problems are fixed before the actual release. The release date won't be until early 2014 if the beta is gonna be in the fall of 2013. EA is smart, so they wouldn't just send beta invites to us PS3/360 players if the new PS/Xbox came out the following year.

Also, look at the other games coming out in the future like GTA V, Bioshock Infinite and Beyond, Tomb Raider, etc. The owners of the games would not put a lot of money on the table just to have another console come out as they release it. The high confidence in the EA producers is amazing as well if they're going to release it on the PS3/360 versions.

There may be new consoles in the later future, but for the next two years I don't think there will be any new consoles, but who knows, maybe a new console will be released. This is just solid evidence.

What do you think? Will Battlefield 4 arrive before next-gen consoles? Or will they stick with our current PS3, 360, and PC setup?

Consoles today struggle to run BF3. Ik that almost every time I play Gulf of Oman I freeze because of its size and Armored Kill will be no different. I think its a very bad Idea for EA to be releasing BF4 so fast. They still have other options such as 2143 (basically like battlefield 1943 where they redid part of 1942 for consoles but they redo the entire 2142 game for consoles) or BC3. Look at how long bf3 is going to last after the last DLC, End Game. They will have a total of 5 DLC's and over 30 maps (Correct me if I'm wrong) and so many weapons and vehicles to use and master. They have already proven they can beat CoD, but I believe they are releasing so early for 2 reasons.
1. This is the first major BF game to have a campaign and they want to satisfy everyone's hunger for an end to the story. (The major BF games being 1942 and expansions, Vietnam (PC), BF2 and expansions, 2142, and BF3. The console ports of BF like 1943 and BC series were not as huge as the other BF games)
2. B.O.2 is being released and they are worried CoD will regain its popularity.

EDIT: Talked to a friend on PSN and idk where he heard it so its just a rumor but the PS4 may possibly be showcased at E3 in 2013.
