So, I've had Skyrim (for PS3) for about 7 months, but I haven't played it much at all. This is because the last time I tried to play it (a few months ago) the controls were so jerky and the graphics were so choppy/laggy, if I continued to play I would have been wasting my time. To get straight to the point, I was wondering whether the game is naturally this poorly designed, if it is my bluray, or if it is my PS3. Any tips on reducing lag, increasing graphics, and/or making the game run smoother are greatly appreciated. After all, this game seems really fun, but I can't stand graphics and controls like this.
Can't really do much about the controls but I believe Bethesda has patched some of the frame rate issues, save file sizes and bugs/glitches since you last played which was a few months ago. Try playing now, if you see no improvement the last time you played then there's really nothing you can do about it, unless you want to buy a decent computer that can run skyrim.
