(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Recently I downloaded BF3 for PC from a torrent and I thought I would share this with all of you. For those who already own Battlefield 3 your thinking "why do I need this?" and if you own it for PC already, you don't. If your a console player like me and have BF3 for the 360 or the PS3, and want to try it for the PC, but don't want to pay another 60$ this is for you.

Minimum requirements:

OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7
Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or Althon X2 2.7 GHz
RAM: 2GB
Graphic card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card, ATI Radeon
3870 or higher, Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or higher.
Graphics card memory: 512 MB
Sound card: DirectX compatibl sound card
Hard drive: 15 GB

Step 1. Download uTorrent and install it if you don't already have it. You must login or register to view this content.
Step 2. Go to this website and click on the "Get this torrent" Line with the magnet next to it. (BEWARE, all of the little other download and play now buttons are advertisements and most likely lead to viruses) You must login or register to view this content.
Step 3. The link should open in uTorrent and begin to download. Let it download.
Step 4. Wait.
Step 5. When the download is finished you will need a program to mount the .iso files. You can just burn them to a CD but not everyone has spare, blank CD's lying around. I recommend DAEMON tools lite. Its free and gets the job done. You must login or register to view this content.
Step 6. Mount the .iso file Disc 1 and begin the installation process. If it goes for you like it did me, you need to change the install directory as it will try to install on the disc image and this will not work. You need to either install it on a hard drive or a rather large flash drive (by large i mean like 16gb....)
Step 7.When it asks for the file part 35, unmount the Disc 1.iso image and mount Disc 2.iso and continue.
Step 8. The installation process should eventually finish. You aren't done yet. Open up the disc image (Disc 2.iso) and open the folder labeled Cracked. In there you will see an application labeled bf3. You will need to replace the application labeled bf3 in where ever you installed the game with the one from the Cracked folder. (I don't know a better way to explain this. If you need help just say so and I will try to clarify.
Step 9. The folder that it installed to should be labeled Battlefield 3™. You need to rename the folder to Battlefield 3. (This is because the ™ symbol is not specified in the application paths and none of the applications will launch if you do not do this)
Step 10. I recommend closing as many background programs. They can cause unforeseen problems with the game. 2 examples are from my own experience. 1. I have teamviewer installed on my computer and it prevents BF3 from going full screen when open. 2. I have a logitech keyboard and when the software to change buttons on the keyboard is open, none of the buttons in game work...
Step 11 (Final). Enjoy the game.

EDIT: I have not found a way to get around origin and even if I were to find one, mu guess is you won't be able to play on EA's official servers without it. I'm going to continue to look but I encourage you you to look too. Note that simply googling "Battlefield 3 multiplayer crack" isn't going to work. Most cracks are either fake, fake with a survey, or fake with a virus. Make sure if u go fishing for one, that you have a good anti virus and scan all the files you DL.

This is just for the single player correct? Unless you go out and actually buy a account?

For now yes. I'm currently looking for a way to play mp w/o buying anything. I will update the thread if I find something of use.
