its could be something wrong with your internet or that account.
reset your internet doing the same thing, try a other account. Smile

nope i was playing fine until i started another game of free mode i was always being host noone joining:fa: and i decided to restart my ps3 and getting that connecting to game provider on ps3 even my friends are having the same issue

Try This : Don't Sign in > Go to GTA IV > Open Phone > Multiplayer > Will you asking to Sign in , Sign in With the Phone.

connecting to game provider................cannot connect to game provider. please try again later.

WTF Just Happened?
that was happening to me yesterday.. but i just kept tryin & then it worked fine. just went to play online . had this problem but then did what he said . Try This : Don't Sign in > Go to GTA IV > Open Phone > Multiplayer > Will you asking to Sign in , Sign in With the Phone. & it worked

All you have to do is when it says connecting to server sign out, them wait until it says cant connect. Then sign in with it still saying cant connect, once signed in press circle to go back to multiplayer option and click it and you should be good! This has worked everytime for me!

The Server was down for about a hour or 2, it should be back up for you now, if u stayed signed in you wouldn't have noticed but if u quit the game or quit multiplayer you would.

probably was something with psn. i kept having login issues every so often and couldn't get into the store. also cod4 nor mw2 didnt work.
