Nintendo's Saturo Iwata has said recently, "If you are going to connect Wii U with a home TV capable of displaying 3-D images, technologically, yes, it is going to be possible, but that’s not the area we are focusing on." As you can see they will not be focusing on the 3D features as much as the other more important ones, because most games don't really need 3D as of now. The 3D will support 1080p and 60FPS though.

Do you think the Wii U should have 3D at the launch?
