People hate me. I get in a heli just to get to a bomb site and then I crash it but parachute at the last second so my teammate dies.

I have friends that are normally pilot, I'm an OK pilot, but my mic is sound blocking so I can't hear the tv (the mic is designed for SD when I play in HD) and that leads me to fuck up sometimes. I'm a better gunner. You need to play with friends that you can work with. Battlefield is about team work.

Noobs aint gonna learn to be better pilots if they don't fly. Also what's the point of this thread? Just to vent? Also one more thing I gotta ask, what makes a pilot, a "bad" pilot. Aside from the obvious of crashing into the Antenna on Caspian.

I don't think there is an excuse to be a horrible pilot in a heli anymore now that there are more empty servers to practice in. When the game first came out I took advantage of the co-op mission "Fire From The Sky" to practice and get better. The 1st time I played that mission I crashed within 5 seconds. I use the default button layout on PS3 and some people say that changing the layout is easier (for some people) but I've learned to get used to it and get better. Now I consider myself better than average in helis and I get compliments from random players that are in my gunner seat that I'm a good pilot. All I gotta say is practice, and when you think you are ready practice more. Having a bad pilot is almost as bad as having a bad gunner. Communication in an attack heli is very important to keep it in the air for as long as possible. Always carry flares as a gunner. And let your pilot know you have flares so you both dont ECM & flare or double flare at the same time.

I will hold practice for people on my personal server I will make a thread and link it. I understand some people need to just learn.

Pretty sure we are talking about helis, not jets. Not all good jet pilots are good in helis, just like not all good heli pilots are good in jets.

im a good flyer in the heli, i just never use it so i have like 2 things unlocked for it. suck ass at flying jets :C
