Today the trailer for Criterion’s newest game “Need for Speed: Most Wanted” was released at EA’s Gamescom Press Conference today. The trailer showcases many new cars like the Koenigsegg Agera R, the Caterham Superlight R500 and many more. The trailer also gives us a good look at Fairhaven City, an open world where you race and drive in free roam evading the cops. We see spectacular jumps in the city, which you drive with the fastest cars, off the top of a parking garage getting air time. The trailer also showcases game modes in the game including “Takedown Challenge” where you must disable opponent’s cars and the classic “Drift Challenge”.

At the end of the trailer we see the release date for the game which will be October 30[SUP]th[/SUP] 2012, and that anyone who pre-orders the game beforehand will receive a Limited Edition copy of the game giving you access to an early unlock of the Maserati Granturismo Mc Stradale and the Porche 911 Carrera S with Custom Mods. You also receive Four Hours of Double Speed Points to boost your Multiplayer Progression when with the Limited Edition of the game.

I think I may buy this game as I love the Need for Speed games and the first Need for Speed: Most Wanted was one of my favourite games. What are your thoughts on the trailer NGU? Will you be buying this game?
