OMG Nice, I might aswell wait for the hd pvr 2, because i havent bought a pvr yet

you can technicaly, record PS3 throw HDMI and bypass the HDCP protection, in order to do this you...

1)need a capture card that can "VIEW" HDCP protected content (most do to my understanding)

2)you then have that connect to your PC so you can have your PS3 display is showing on your PC

3) get a screen capture program (aka fraps etc.)

4)record your screen on PC

your technically not recording the HDMI so this bypasses the HDCP protection and allow people who really want to use a HDMI on PS3 to record there gameplay and play on that HDMI connection.

I'll stick with my potato aka dazzle card though I'm pretty happy with the quality when using S-Video cables.
