Yep, because you are actually shooting them with a sniper rifle, unlike the EOD bot method

Yes it does. I was involved in the lav video. The aweful sniper being run over.... And tried the sniper glitch. Very easy to do. Although you will need a friends help. I helped a few buddies get 2000m shots on Kharg island.
