Post: Borderlands 2 Easier Split Screen Duping (You Don't Need To Quit The Game To The XMB)

Set Up
1. Load game and add in second controller.
2. Trade all items you want duped to the second account (P2)
You may want to only do a few items at a time because the duping process has to be done fairly quickly.
3. Save and quit with first remote to main screen so that both accounts save
Duping
1.At the main screen, load up both accounts before pressing continue.
You may want to change online settings to private so that others do not join and mess up your duping.
2.Press continue and immedietly trade items you want duped from your P2 to your P1.
(You may notice the game is saving as soon as it starts. This is key. It will first save for P1 then P2.
Loading both characters from the main menu before starting the game causes it to save slightly slower)
3. If you have traded fast enough it should still be saving for the P1 or the P2. Press start with the second remote and press circle and yes to save and quit with the 2P. YOU MUST DO THIS BEFORE IT IS DONE SAVING FOR P2.
(Since it is already saving for P2 and you try to quit and save with your second remote, it will not over-write the save with allows this glitch to work)
4. Load P2 back up (you do not have to quit to the main menu)
If done correctly both accounts should now have the items.
5. To repeat process either rinse and repeat or (even faster) do not trade the second set of items from Duping Step 4 and start at Duping step 1
Dumbed Down Tut
1.Have all items you want to dupe on second account P2
2.From main menu load up both accounts MAKE SURE ACCOUNT WITH THE ITEMS IS SECOND PLAYER
3.Start Up game with network setting set to offline
4. Trade items to your first player immediately And then immediately save and quit with second remote
5. Load second account back into the game. If you have completed the above steps fast enough both accounts will have the items.
If you are having problems doing this Try read the longer tutorial.
Notes
1. I have not tried this on XBOX but I see no reason as to why it would not work.
2. This process has to be done fairly fast, so try only duping a few items or just cash at a time.
3. I do not believe this can be done with other people in the party, but feel free to try.
Also feel free to add me on PSN if you want to play or dupe and trade items. I have some oranges including "The Bee" shield with 52k+ amp damage. I am a lv 50 Siren with both playthroughs done
